Most homes have been surveyed in the past and steel stakes have been posted at the corners of your property. 

Ideal Fence of Madison has metal locators and we can usually find the stakes to properly complete the job. 

If the stakes have been taken out or can't be located, a registered surveyor will need to perform a survey to verify the proper locations since we are not surveyors.

Depending on your property's location, we can gladly advise you of a required permit or any regulations based on the most recent information. 

Since regulations change and some communities have requirements, we ask you inquire with your homeowners association or municipality to see if anything is required. 

If a permit is needed, that will be your responsibility, but the costs are minimal.

We contact Diggers Hotline whenever we have an order for a fence installation. They will locate all public utilities (gas, electric, telephone, cable TV) and mark those before installation. You will not be charged for this. 

You are responsible for alerting us about privately installed items underground including gas lines to grills, sprinkler systems, or electrical lines to detached garages since Diggers Hotline will not locate those.
